According to UNESCO, the number of students studying abroad continues to grow WW, from 4M to 5.7M between 2012 – 2021 (2,40% of the total higher education). However, in the LAC region, from a total of 30.8M students, only 360k are studying abroad (1,16%), and according to global rates, given the same given conditions, over 700k should be studying abroad. The Million dollar question is: Why?
