What steps have you taken to validate the market?
Agreement with the biggest brands in Greece, where they promote us in their social media accounts. Advertising and promoting through social media platforms, Influencers, PR's connections, and promoting. Google ads. SEO. Bringing the biggest Restaurant, Club, Hotel, and beach bars owner around Greece on TheList app.
Who are your competitors and how are you different?
OpenTable is the industry leader; they made $17B revenue in 2019. they are operating only in the restaurant's industry where they have 1)No floorplan 2)No prepayment 3)Not all Categories 4)Not premium 5)No menus 6)No gift shop 7)Users cant understand How much money do they need to spend on X store to book a VIP table or a dinning table. Etc...
What progress have you made in the last six months?
Our product was live on 28 July, so we live for the past 4 months with the Covid pandemic effect and two lockdowns in Greece where everything was totally shutdown. We achieve 165 top venues in Athens, Mykonos, Corfu, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, and Araxova in Greece. Over 10K downloads on iOS and Android. Over 3450 Registrations. We gave over 272 reservations to our partners, where we gave them in total 35.000€. Our commission out of that was 3.500€.
