Biotecland is an agrobiotechnology startup that aims to produce microorganisms for applications in agricultural systems.
The demand for agricultural production will always increase and will face water scarcity, soil desertification and rising costs for fertilizers and pesticides. Biotecland uses applied microbiology, especially microalgae, to increase productivity, reduce costs and environmental impact.

Who are your competitors and how are you different?
My direct competitors are the big producers of stimulants and chemical fertilizers. And my direct competitors are in other countries. However, the market I am in is bigger.
What progress have you made in the last six months?
We are currently consolidating our customer and partner base. We have the production on demand strategy. Our goal is to sell the entire production batch. We plan to do production, launch and sales between July and November.
